Sweet Corn and Carrot Porridge

A big bowl of warm porridge just perfect for raining day in Singapore. Recently, I love to cook porridge (congee). For sure, to cook porridge it’s very simple as pie ^-^ Just simply add the all ingredients that you like and boil until fluffy grains. Meanwhile , porridge can help to achieve health and weight loss too. I like all the weight loss food. Do you ? Lol…=)  So, start from today i will sharing variety type of  porridge as my lunch into my food blog. Hope you guys enjoy it ^-^

一碗热乎乎的粥非常适合在新加坡的雨天。最近,我喜欢煮稀饭(粥)。当然,煮稀饭是非常简单的料理^ – ^只需要添加你喜欢的所有材料将它煮沸,直到米粒蓬松即可。同时,粥可以达到养生及瘦身的效果呢~我最爱所有可以瘦身的料理。你呢?(大声笑=)所以,从今天开始,我将会分享午餐我所准备的多种类型粥,将它记载到我的美食部落格里。希望爱吃粥的你们会喜欢咯^ – ^

 Ingredients/ 食材 :- 

*serves 2 /两人份

Brown rice – 1 cup
糙米- 1杯

Fresh sweet corn – 100gram
新鲜甜玉米-100克

Carrot chopped – 100gram
胡萝卜丁-100克

Sesame Oil – 1 teaspoon
芝麻油-1小匙

A pinch of salt
适量的盐巴

Steps/ 步骤  :- 

1. Wash the brown rice, soak it in the water for at least 30 mins . Then drain well.
洗净的糙米,浸泡在水中至少30分钟。然后沥干。

2. Turn to high heat,cover with lid and cook for 8-10 minutes until boil.
开高火,盖上锅盖,煮8-10分钟,直到沸腾。

3. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes.Stir occasionally.
把火降低,再煮20分钟左右,偶尔搅拌。

4. Then turn the heat back to medium, adding the sweet corn and carrot chopped with seasoning of sesame oil , pepper powder and a pinch of salt . Then cook until the porridge consistency that you like.
然后将火候转至中火,加入甜玉米,胡萝卜丁再调味如芝麻油,适量胡椒粉和少许盐。再煮至你喜欢的稠度。

5.Done . Serve hot ^.^B
完成。趁热享用 ~
