Recently the weather here very unstable. Sometimes raining whole day long but sometimes stifling hot. My mood also follow the weather to change again but “FOOD” can make me feel better ! Of course, i’m not a person who will emotional eating ^.- Do you ? So, today i decide to use these beautiful golden colour of pumpkin to make pumpkin porridge to brighten up my day ~ Sound great right ? Let’s get started …

最近的天气非常不稳定。有时候整天都在下雨,有时候又非常的闷热。我的心情也跟随天气在转变不过“食物” 可以让我感觉更美好!当然,我并不是一个情绪化进食的人^.- 你呢?所以,今天我决定以鲜美金黄色的南瓜煮一锅南瓜粥来照亮我的日子~听起来不错吧 ~ 让我们一起开始吧。。。

Ingredients / 食材

*Serve 2 / 两人份

1) Brown rice-1 cup
糙米- 1杯

2) Pumpkin – 100 grams (cut small pieces)
南瓜-100克 (切小块)

3) A pinch of salt , pepper , spring onion & milk for seasoning
盐,胡椒粉,葱花,鲜奶调味

Steps / 步骤

1. Wash the brown rice , soak it in the water for at least 30 mins . Then drain well.
洗净的糙米,浸泡在水中至少30分钟。然后沥干。

2. Turn to high heat,cover with lid and cook for few minutes until boil.
开高火,盖上锅盖,煮几分钟分钟,直到沸腾。

3. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes.Stir occasionally.
把火降低,再煮20分钟左右,偶尔搅拌。

4.Then turn the heat to medium low ,adding all the pumpkin pieces and simmer with lid until pumpkin become soft. 
将火候转至中小火,加入所以的南瓜块然后盖上锅盖焖煮至南瓜变软即可。

5. Last, add some salt , pepper powder for seasoning. Then sprinkle some spring onion and topped with fresh milk . Done !
最后,加入些盐巴和胡椒粉做调味。然后,撒上葱花及淋上鲜奶。完成!
