Fried Mashed Potato Cake

Potato is the most nutrient rich of carbohydrates. For me, potato is good substitute for rice. As you know asian people eat rice everyday ,sometimes a small change is good ^.^ So,today i use mashed potatoes to make crisp cake. The outside is crispy , healthy and yummy especially for vegetarian lovers! Let’s get started =)

马铃薯含有丰富的碳水化合物。对于我来说,马铃薯是白米饭最好的替代品。正如你所知亚洲人每一天都在吃饭。所以,偶尔小改变是好的。所以,今天我利用马铃薯泥做成脆饼。外皮非常香脆,健康及美味尤其是给素食爱好者!让我们开始吧=)

Ingredients / 食材

1) Potatoes – 2 pcs of chilled mashed potatoes
两粒冷藏过的马铃薯泥

2) some of carrot shredded & spring onion chopped
适量的胡萝卜丝和葱花

3) Bread crumbs
面包糠

4) seasoning with salt , black pepper powder and some of milk
调味料有盐巴,黑胡椒粉和适量的鲜奶

步骤/ steps :-

cook the potato pieces in boil water with little salt until soft. Then use a fork to mashed it.
将马铃薯切块然后放入沸腾的热水里煮至松软(水里加少量盐)。之后,用叉子将马铃薯压烂。

Adding in all the ingredient with seasoning of black pepper , salt and few tablespoons of fresh milk .
加入全部的食材和调味料如黑胡椒,盐巴和几匙的鲜奶。

Combine well all the ingredients (black and white sesame is optional). Then keep into fridge for at least 1-2 hrs.
将全部材料混合均匀(黑白芝麻是自选)。然后放入冰箱里冷藏至少1-2小时。

Roll mashed potato into ball shape then slightly flattened into patty. Then coated with bread crumbs.
Heat up the pan with olive oil, fried potato cake for 2- 3 minutes each side until golden brown .
取一小部分马铃薯泥搓成球形,然后轻压扁再粘上面包糠。
热锅后倒入少许橄榄油,将马铃薯片的两面各煎2-3分钟至表皮金黄色即可 。

Done! Drain the excess oil with kitchen towel and ready to serve warm ^.^B
完成!利用厨房纸巾将多余的油份沥干。准备上桌咯 ~

The outside you get a crispy golden brown layer , inside is silky smooth mashed potato bite . Yum … Yum ~
金黄酥脆的外皮,里面口感如丝般顺滑,绵密的马铃薯泥~ 赞!
