Deep Fried Enoki with Tofu Porridge

Wed 28 May 2014 _ Sunny Day [Fried Enoki Tofu Porridge]

Enoki mushrooms are popular in Asian cuisine, especially in Japan. It is very common dish can get in the japanese restaurant too. As i know the enoki mushrooms rich of antioxidant and low in calories. That’s great for diet (yipeee ^.^) Today , I deep fried the enoki mushrooms as my tofu porridge side dish ..Of course it ‘s a great snacking with beer too =)  Let’s get started !

金针菇在亚洲算是很受欢迎的美食,尤其是在日本。在日本餐厅这是很普遍的料理。据我所道金针菇含有丰富的抗氧化和低热量。这太棒了(yippee的^^)今天,我热炸金针菇当豆腐粥的小配菜。当然把它当零嘴配啤酒也太棒了=) 让我们开始吧!

Ingredients / 食材

Enoki mushrooms – 1 pack (cut off the end part)
金针菇 -1包(低部切除)

Brown rice – 1 cup
糙米-1杯

Japan silken tofu – 1 pack (cut into bite pieces)
日本嫩豆腐 - 1包 (切丁)

Sesame oil – 1 tablespoon
芝麻油-1汤匙

seasoning – a pinch of salt , pepper powder
调味-少许盐,胡椒粉

Batter / 面糊

Cornstarch – 4 tablespoons
粟粉-4汤匙

Water – 3 tablespoons
水-3汤匙

1)Mix the batter ingredients and stir well. Separate the enoki mushrooms into small batches, then dip into batter and deep fried with hot oil until golden brown. (tips !  drop off the excess batter and fried in small batches to avoid them stick together )

将面糊材料混合均匀后,把金针菇分成小部分再粘上面糊。然后放入热油里热炸至金黄色即可。( 提示!把多余的面糊去掉和分成小部分油炸能避免金针菇粘在一团)

2)Drain the excess oil with kitchen paper . Done !
利用厨房纸巾将多余的油沥干。完成!

Porridge 

1. Wash the brown rice, soak it in the water for at least 30 mins . Then drain well.
洗净的糙米,浸泡在水中至少30分钟。然后沥干。

2. Turn to high heat,cover with lid and cook for 8-10 minutes until boil.
开高火,盖上锅盖,煮8-10分钟,直到沸腾。

3. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes.Stir occasionally.
把火降低,再煮20分钟左右,偶尔搅拌。

4. Then turn the heat back to medium, adding the silken tofu with seasoning of sesame oil , pepper powder and a pinch of salt . Then cook until the porridge consistency that you like.
然后将火候转至中火,加入嫩豆腐再调味如芝麻油,适量胡椒粉和少许盐。再煮至你喜欢的稠度。

5.Done . Sprinkle some black and white sesame seed and serve hot ^.^B
完成。撒上一些黑白芝麻,趁热享用 ~
