Pumpkin Sesame Scones

Vegetables are important for our daily meal. It contains vitamin, mineral and fiber that good for body health.  I really like the recipes that use variety of vegetables concept to apply on cakes or cookies as my daily sweet snacks =) So, in this recipe i use my favorite pumpkin to make scones. I love the natural sweetness of pumpkin and it is extremely high in fiber and antioxidant. So, these pumpkin sesame scones definitely a great snacks for you and your family.

蔬菜在我们的日常饮食中占了非常重要的一部分。蔬菜含有维生素,矿物质及其他的纤维素都有利于身体健康。我还蛮喜欢使用各种不同的蔬菜食谱概念用于在蛋糕或饼干上作为我的日常甜点小零食=),所以,在这个食谱当中我也采用了我喜爱的南瓜加入司康里。我爱南瓜的自然甜味,而且南瓜含有非常高的纤维及抗氧化剂。这南瓜芝麻司康绝对是你一家大小的健康小点心~

Ingredients / 食材:-

* Pre-heat oven at 200C / 预热烤箱在200度

Plain flour – 130 grams
低筋面粉- 130克

Whole wheat flour – 50 grams
全麦面粉-50克

Pumpkin puree – 100 grams
南瓜泥- 100克

Sesame seed – 20 grams
芝麻粒- 20克

Baking powder – 1 teaspoon
泡打粉- 1小匙

Soy milk(unsweetened)- 50 ml
无糖豆奶- 50毫升

Grapeseed Oil – 3 Tablespoons
葡萄籽油- 3汤匙

Brown sugar – 15 grams
黑糖-15克

Salt – 2 pinch
盐巴- 2小撮

STEPS /步骤:-

1)In a medium bowl, sieve the flour,baking powder and brown sugar then add the salt and roasted sesame seeds.
在大碗里将面粉,泡打粉和黑糖一起过筛,之后加入盐巴和烤过的芝麻粒。

2)In a small bowl, mix in soy milk, oil and pumpkin puree and stir until smooth.
在小碗中,将油,豆奶及南瓜泥一起搅拌至顺滑。

3)Pour in the soy milk mixture into flour mixture, use the fork stir the mixture till just combined.( Do not over mix the mixture,it’s will affect the texture)
把湿性材料倒入粉类材料里,利用叉子搅拌至无粉状,成团即可。(不要过度的搅拌面团,影响口感)

1) Use your hands to form the dough into a ball shape.
用手将面团形成球状。

2) Use the rolling pin or hand to flatten the dough until 1 cm thick.
使用手按压或以擀面杖将面团擀成1公分的厚度。

3) Cut the dough into half, overlap and compress both dough together.(Repeat twice )
把面团切割成半,重叠,将两份面团压缩在一起。(此步骤重复两次)

4) Cut the dough into 8 equal pieces.
再次将面团分割成8等份。

1)Place the scones on the baking pan.
将司康放在烤盘上。

2)Brush the top of scones with little soy milk.
在司康表面刷上少许的豆奶。

3)Pre-heat oven at 200C , bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
预热烤箱在200度,烘烤15-20分钟或呈现金黄色。
