Pumpkin Rolled Oats French Toast

Fall season is coming, Halloween festival is around the corner and this is the great pumpkin season to make pumpkin recipes. Although the Halloween festival is not as popular in my country as in western country but we still can see a lot of Halloween decoration surrounding shopping malls.So, we also feel the halloween’s atmosphere everywhere! This morning, I went to the market and bought some of pumpkin as I love to eat them ^^ Most of the time, I will steam the pumpkin and eat them raw with brown rice without any condiment.The natural sweetness from pumpkin make the rice taste good! That’s my favorite pumpkin rice =) Previously, I have shared variety of pumpkin recipes in my blog such as Pumpkin Sesame SconesPumpkin Sesame Balls, Pumpkin Pound Cake and etc.. Pumpkin not only taste good, it contains huge of vitamins and minerals that good for health. So, today I use the pumpkin puree to make these savory Pumpkin French Toast as my breakfast. 秋天来临,随着万圣节的到来,而此刻是很棒的南瓜季节做南瓜料理。虽然,万圣节在我居住的国家并不如西方国家外那么热闹但在各大百货公司我们仍然可看见四处悬挂起万圣节的装饰,同时也让我感受到了万圣节的气氛无处不在!今早去了菜市场便买了我最喜爱的南瓜。我很常把南瓜蒸熟后,再拌入糙米饭一起吃,完全不加调味料因为南瓜本身就有天然的甜味,简单的吃就显得香甜可口~这可是我最爱的南瓜拌饭=) 之前,我曾经分享过以南瓜为主的料理食谱如 南瓜芝麻司康南瓜芝麻球南瓜葡萄干磅蛋糕等等。南瓜不仅口感好,而且它含有大量的维生素和矿物质,对健康非常有益。所以,今天我采用了南瓜泥去制作南瓜燕麦法式吐司当早餐。让我们从这一份健康又营养的南瓜燕麦法式吐司来展开活力充沛的一天吧 =)

Ingredients / 食谱:-

Pumpkin puree – 30g
南瓜泥-30克

Rolled Oats – 10g
燕麦片-10克

Unsweetened Soy milk – 60ml
无糖豆奶-60毫升

Brown sugar – 1 tablespoon
黑糖-1汤匙

Cinnamon powder – 1 teaspoon
肉桂粉-1小匙

A pinch of salt to taste
一小撮盐巴调味

1.In a medium bowl, whisk together soy milk, pumpkin puree, brown sugar, cinnamon powder and salt and stir until well combined.
在中碗里,一起拌入豆奶,南瓜泥,黑糖,肉桂粉和盐巴再搅拌均匀。

2.Pour the soy milk mixture into a shallow dish. Then, dip the bread into the soy milk mixture and let both sides of bread to absorb for few second.
将混合好的豆奶倒入较浅的盘子,再让吐司浸入豆奶几秒中好让吐司的双面都充分吸收豆奶中的精华。

3.Heat the pan with medium flame, add in some olive oil and pan fry until both sides golden brown .
以中火预热锅子,倒入少许的橄榄油,把吐司煎至双面焦黄色即可。

4.Serve warm with honey and rolled oats . Done !
趁热淋上蜂蜜/枫糖浆,再撒上一些燕麦片。完成!
