Spinach and Goji Berries Bread

Recently my favorite thing is baking bread and I’m a newbie for bread baking.Most of the time I will face a lot of problems and always forget the basic step of bread making. It’s make me troublesome! Although it is a bit messy task for me but I enjoyed the process. I learned from the mistakes and practicing it on free time.There is a saying, practice makes perfect! Since I bake my own bread, I will try to mix in the healthy ingredients like fresh vegetables, fruits or nuts into my bread. I wish I could make the most healthy and full of nutrition bread for my lovely family. Today’s bread recipe, I added green vegetable Spinach and Goji Berries (Wolfberry) into bread. As everyone knows, Spinach and Goji berries is full of vitamins, antioxidants and minerals. With these vegetable bread, you can get the nutrient all the time ~

最近我最喜欢做的事情就是烤面包而对于制作面包我还算是个初学者。在制作过程中,我常常面临到许多的问题甚至经常忘了制作面包的基础步骤。这让我很伤脑筋!虽然这对我来说是有点凌乱的任务但我很享受过程。我从错误中学习并在空档时不断的练习,有句话说“熟能生巧”嘛 =)自从学会烤面包后,我都会尽量加入一些健康的食材如新鲜蔬菜,水果或坚果融入到面包内。我希望自已能做出最健康的而富有营养的面包给我亲爱的家人。所以呢,今天的面包食谱里,我加了绿色蔬菜——菠菜和枸杞(枸杞子)在面包里。相信大家都知道,菠菜和枸杞是含有充分的维生素,抗氧化剂和矿物质。有了这些蔬菜面包,你便可无时无刻的摄取营养素~

Ingredients / 食材:-
*Pre-heat oven at 180C / 预热烤箱在180度

Bread flour – 250 grams
高筋面粉-250克

Sugar – 2 Tablespoons
砂糖-2汤匙

Yeast – 3 grams
即溶酵母-3克

Salt – 3 grams
盐巴-3克

Unsweetened Soy milk – 160 ml
无糖豆浆-160毫升

Olive oil – 1 Tablespoon
橄榄油-1汤匙

Spinach – 60 grams (finely chopped)
菠菜-60克(切碎)

Goji Berries – 20 grams
枸杞- 20克

*Spinach & Goji berries – Wash and drain well. Make sure squeezing out excess liquid!
*菠菜 & 枸杞-洗净沥干水份。确保要把多余的水分沥干!

Steps/步骤 :-

In a big bowl, mix it the flour, sugar , yeast and salt. Pour in the soy milk and oil stir until all the ingredients combine and knead until smooth dough .(It’s take about 15-20 minutes to knead the dough by hand) Then add the spinach chopped and goji berries and knead until combine. Cover and leave the dough rest in a warm place to rise until double the size, about 1 hr (depending on room temperature)

在大碗里加入面粉,糖,酵母和盐巴。倒入豆奶,搅拌至所有材料混合均匀。然后,开始揉面至光滑面团(揉面团的过程需大约15-20分钟左右)。把菠菜和枸杞一起搓揉进面团内再盖上保鲜膜,让面团静置发酵大约1小时或双倍大的体积。

After 1 hour, the dough has risen double its quantity and punch it lightly and knead it to take out the air. Transfer the dough to floured surface . Divide the dough into 3 equal pieces and knead each into ball shape. Then cover with plastic wrap and let them rest for 10-15 minutes. (Let the dough relax a while .This will easy for you to roll into rope)

一小时后,面团已经膨胀两倍大,再以拳头式的轻轻压使面团里的空气挤压出来。将面团移到撒好面粉的桌面上,分割成3份再滚圆。再次盖上保鲜膜,让面团松弛10-15分钟(让面团再松弛一下以方便搓成条状)

Roll each ball into a rope. Braid the ropes (do not overtighten) , pinching the ends and tuck them under to seal. Then cover with plastic wrap and let it sit for another 30 minutes.
*This is 1st time making braided bread, it’s look ugly.. hope you don’t mind ^.-

将面团搓成条状,开始编辫子(不要编的太紧) 编好后捏紧尾端,盖保鲜膜进行最后发酵30分钟.
*第一次制作辫子面包,卖相很丑,希望你别介意^_^

After fermentation, brush a thin layer of soy milk and garnish some sesame seed on the top of bread. Pre-heat oven at 180C and bake for 20-25 minutes or until nice and golden brown.
发酵好后,在面包表面刷上薄层的豆奶及在面包上撒上一些芝麻当装饰。预热烤箱在180度,烘烤20-25分钟至呈现金黄色即可。
