Raw Ginger Sugar Cookies

Ginger is one of the popular ingredients in Asian dish especially for Chinese cuisine.Usually, I will add few thin slices of ginger into my stir fried veggie or meat recipes.Last 2 weeks ago, I went back to my hometown and mum bought me some raw fresh ginger from famous state of Malaysia, Pahang. The ginger’s aroma is strong if compare to local market ginger and it is fresh and more juicy.Sometimes, I used fresh ginger to make a hot ginger tea.As I know ginger tea is good for body health and it’s helps to relieve women menstrual problems =) Beside of making the hot ginger tea, I also like to use grated ginger to make cookies,too.The spice of ginger cookies is so great for ginger lovers ^.^

在亚洲国家,生姜在中式料理当中是一个经常会用到的基本食材。平时,我会在烹饪菜肴或是肉类当中加入数薄片的生姜。在前两星期,我回到自已的家乡,妈妈给我买了一些来自马来西亚彭亨州的著名文东姜。这文东姜的香气比起一般市场上的姜来得强烈而且非常新鲜多汁。 偶尔,我会把生姜磨成姜泥泡成姜茶来喝。据我知道,姜茶有利于身体健康,它还助于缓解女性月经的问题=)除了泡成茶饮外,我也喜欢使用姜末做出饼干。姜饼干的微微辛辣味绝对是姜的喜爱者之选^_^

Ingredients / 食材:-

Plain flour – 100 grams
低筋面粉- 100克

Whole wheat flour – 50 grams
全麦面粉-50克

Baking powder – 1 teaspoon
泡打粉-1茶匙

Brown sugar – 4 Tablespoons
黑糖-4大匙

Unsweetened Soy milk – 50 ml
无糖豆浆-50毫升

Grape seed oil – 3 Tablespoons
葡萄籽油-3大匙

Fresh ginger – 20 grams ( peeled and grated)
新鲜姜泥-20克

Steps / 步骤:-

1) In a mixing bowl, sieve in the flour and baking powder.
在搅拌盆中,将面粉和泡打粉一起过筛。

2) In a small cup, add in the soy milk, oil and grated ginger, stir until well combine.
在一个小杯里,加入豆浆,油和姜泥再搅拌均匀。

1) Pour in wet mixture to dry ingredients  ,then add brown sugar into the mixture and combine all ingredients until become cookies dough.
把湿性材料倒入干性食材当中,然后加入黑糖快速搅拌成团。

2) Use the rolling pin to flatten the cookies dough about 1 cm thickness.
利用擀面棍将饼干面团擀成大约1公分的厚度。

3) Use the cookies cutter to cut out the shapes .
利用饼干模具把图形割出。

4) Preheat oven at 180 C, bake for 30 minutes or until the cookies edge turns golden brown .
预热烤箱在180度,烘烤30分钟或直到饼干边缘呈现金黄色即可。
